The official Twitter account for Burger King was apparently hacked Monday just after noon. The feed, which has now been suspended, was altered to appear as if fast food rival McDonald?s is running it, with tweets falsely claiming that Burger King was purchased by McDonald?s.

The tweets also falsely accuse Burger King employees of taking illegal drugs. The Associated Press?has also reported on the incident and said Burger King has not commented at this time.
