Jeremiah Johnson of Newnan has been named vice president of operations for Anisa International, a leading global cosmetic brush, bag and accessory design and manufacturing company.

As vice president of operations, Johnson oversees global manufacturing operations and is responsible for the providing strategic and operational leadership as well as global supply chain strategies.

Johnson?s responsibilities include participating in long-term business planning, translating overall company strategy into operational goals and objectives, establishing key measurements and plans to achieve targets, and compliance in the areas of quality, environmental, health and safety.

Johnson brings 15 years of manufacturing, operation planning and supply chain experience in a global environment.

Additionally, Johnson has experience overseeing multiple facilities for a Fortune 500 company, leading continuous improvement projects in numerous cities throughout the world as well as benchmarking, process improvement and performance management analysis.

? Veasey joins Troutman Sanders

Brandon Veasey has joined Troutman Sanders law firm as an associate in the Environmental and Toxic Tort Litigation practice group.

His practice includes representing corporate clients in federal and state courts in civil ligation and environmental matters. He also represents clients in product liability cases.

Veasey is a 2004 graduate of Northgate High School. He is a 2012 honors graduate of the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.

He was selected for induction into the Brainerd Currie Honor Society for his outstanding academic achievements and service to the law school community. While at Mercer, Brandon served as the lead articles editor of the ?Mercer Law Review? and received the Cali Award for Excellence in: Federal Appellate Practice and Procedure, Federal Income Taxation, the Law of Lawyering, and the Habeas Project.

He also received the Law and Public Service Award for his dedication to providing legal services to the less fortunate through Mercer?s Public Interest Practicum and the Mercer Habeas Project.

Through the Habeas Project, Veasey represented indigent clients under the Third Year Practice Act in matters before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and in various Superior Courts throughout Georgia.

Prior to attending law school, Veasey co-founded a non-profit organization to help promote high school athletes in the college recruiting process. While in college at Georgia State University, Veasey volunteered as a community athletic coach with the Starr?s Mill High School and Rising Starr Middle School wrestling teams.

Veasey remains active in his community by coaching little league baseball and youth soccer teams at Salem Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia.
