"Polar Bear Golf Classic" Raising Money For Cerebral Palsy & Developmentally Disabled

Canton? The Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Country is starting to accept local business sponsorships for their 14th annual Polar Bear Golf Classic held on February 14th. The Polar Bear Golf Classic is an annual fundraiser, which helps raise funds for CP of the North Country's outdoor recreation program.

The Polar Bear Golf Classic features 9 holes of golf in the snow and other fun outdoor contests and activities. For participants, this event will include prize raffles, trivia contest, warm beverages, and food throughout the day. Held at the St. Lawrence University Golf & Country Club and the Best Western University Inn, this event is part of the Canton Winterfest 2013.

Approximately, $12,000-$15,000 needs to be raised in order for CP of North Country to successfully ensure individuals with developmental disabilities can have an outdoor activities program. CP of North Country is encouraging local businesses in all tri-county locations (Jefferson, St. Lawrence, Franklin) to help raise money for the developmentally disabled.

Sponsorship levels vary, any business donating more than $250 will receive free radio advertisement. Each business, regardless of the amount of financial contribution, will receive a sign with his or her logo next to one of the ?tees?. Business banners will be hung for gold, silver, or bronze sponsorships. There are 4 individuals per team, normally represented by a member from a participating business.

There are various levels of sponsorships that range from $100-$2000.

o?? Full page ad on the program, which is passed out at the event and two teams to play golf, as well as eat dinner for free.

?????? Silver $1000

o?? Half page ad on the program, one team to play golf, as well as dinner for free.

?????? Bronze $500

o?? Quarter page ad on the program, one team to play golf, as well as free dinner.

?????? Tee or Hole $250

o?? Business card listing on the program, one team to play golf, as well as free dinner.

?????? Tee or Hole $100

o?? Friend listing, which is on the back of the program.
