The S-Pen equipped Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet has recently hit the US markets with a bang! So here is a review on how the tablet (the alleged ?copied version of Apple?s iPad and iPhone!) actually feels like!
Nothing new in the design!
First let us talk about the design. As far as what we reviewed, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet is quite an identical twin of Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Tablet. It has the identical features such as silver bezel at the sides, speaker placement, virtual button placement and all. The only difference in the design is that from the rear. Here, the new device has silver rear which drops till the bottom and highlights the camera. We must say that we felt a little disappointed on the build quality. Even though, we appreciate its light weight, but still it does not impress us on cheapness and nastiness. Considering the high price tag, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet feels a bit hollow to us!
It?s all about S-Pen!
The glorious feature of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet is its S-pen which makes Samsung tablet all the more stylish! You will find it sitting in its ?own room?, viz. compartment at the bottom right. This S-pen is far more comfortable in hand than what we saw in the Galaxy Note Smartphone. We had pretty positive impressions about the S-Pen! ?It is pretty much responsive and also does not lag while you are writing or drawing something on that screen. As soon as the pen even closes the distance between the screen, you will find an on-screen cursor appearing without having the need to touch it! Samsung has also enabled a palm-rejection support which means that you can rest the palm on screen comfortably without stumbling on anything.
Split- Screen
The gadget has derived its name from the size of its screen. The screen also comes with an impressive feature of split screen which enables you to operate on two applications or windows side-by-side.
Conclusion
Now that we have discussed about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, the main question needs to be answered- is it worth buying the device? We would rather put it in a way that a lot of people will buy the gadget because of being a nifty processor, light-weight and slim bodied device. The main factor or decider will surely be its crowning feature ? the S-Pen!
It would also be worth mentioning that gadgets like Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet do not exist all alone. In order to compete with the device is the 16 GB Apple iPad too which has truly brilliant display. However, what might compel you too go for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet is the better resolution screen, S-pen compatibility with the apps and a lot more other factors.
