A full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the Biology Department at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to characterize at genome-scale the roles of ubiquitination, particularly E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes in plant immunity.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a PhD degree in plant biology, plant pathology or a closely related discipline, have research experience in molecular host-microbe interactions as well as good writing/oral communication skills, and possess a record of significant peer-reviewed publications. A highly motivated candidate with research background in genomics, or ubiquitination system or protein biochemistry is desirable.
